A giant white unicorn will be seen as the world’s largest and largest unicorn attraction when it opens this year at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The 2,500-square-foot, 3,200-seat attraction, which will open on April 27, will be one of the largest in the country when it officially opens and will be more than twice as big as the previous record holder, the Los Angeles County Convention Center, according to the company that operates the attraction.
The unicorn will live in the Magic Kingdom at the park and will stand at a height of 16 feet from the ground.
The 3,000-square foot exhibit hall is expected to have about 600,000 square feet of indoor space, the company said.
The attraction will also feature a 3D projection of the animal.
The space is expected be open to visitors from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the company added.
In an interview with ABC News, Andrew Wylie, chief operating officer of The Walt Disney Company, said that the company is thrilled to be the first major theme park to open with a giant unicorn in its lineup.
“We are very honored to partner with Disney to bring the world this iconic creature,” he said.
The company is aiming to break a Guinness World Record by having the world record holder in its new theme park debut in the next year, he added.
The Last Unicorns, which opened in 2007, is the first attraction of the Walt Disney World Resort that will have a unicorn as its centerpiece.
The world record-holder is the giant white wolf, which was first spotted in New York in 1873.
Disney has not announced a specific date for the park to begin its attraction, but the company has said it is aiming for the opening of the attraction on May 18.
