Disney is bringing back the minnie to its popular animated attraction, and the ride will have the stars of the classic movie “Minnie and the Farm” in its ranks.
“The Minnie’s Adventures at Walt Disney World Resort” will open in 2018, Disney announced Tuesday.
The attraction, which opened in 2017, has been featured in more than 2 billion screens across the world.
The Minnie attraction will feature a new song, “Dancing in the Stars,” written by “Star Wars” composer Carrie Fisher, that features a dance party scene from “The Jungle Book” in a world inspired by the “Star Trek” universe.
The “Dance in the Clouds” video will also include scenes from the original film, Disney said.
“This year, we’re bringing back ‘Minnie & The Farm,’ which has been a beloved Disney character since the 1980s,” Disney said in a statement.
“It was a true joy to create the Minnie character for this new attraction.”
The Minnies first appearance in “Star Tours” was in the film “Dances with Wolves,” which aired on Cartoon Network in 2006.
In the new attraction’s trailer, Minnie appears to be riding on a train with a red horse, which was originally featured in the “Dancer in the Wild” episode of “The Great Mouse Detective.”
“The train ride is so exciting and fun, and I think it’s really fitting to see Minnie again in the Disney Parks,” Disney chief creative officer Peter Cipriano said in the statement.
The new “Dancers” attraction, the latest addition to the park, will feature characters from “Muppet Treasure Island” and “Frozen.”
Disney’s Minnie and the gang will also be joined in the ride by a trio of “Hocus Pocus” characters: a rabbit, a squirrel and a cat.
The three Minnie-inspired characters will be available for purchase at the ride’s ticket windows, where they’ll be available to rent for up to 20 minutes.
The park will also offer a “Minnie” themed restaurant, where customers can order “minis” and enjoy a meal from their “minister.”
Disney is also launching a new version of “Munchies” that features more Minnie characters and a new attraction that includes Minnie in a space shuttle.
The space shuttle will also debut in 2018.
“Star wars” fans will also have access to “Starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse at Disneyland” through a new ticketing option that lets them visit the park and buy tickets to ride the Star Wars themed shuttle to the rides.
The company is also releasing an exclusive line of Minnie Minnie accessories for the park.
Disney also said it will also add new attractions at Disneyland Resort that feature the classic “Mum Minnie” miniatures, which were originally used in the original “Muppets” movie.
“We know that Minnie has captured the hearts of generations of Disney fans and we’re excited to bring her back to the world-renowned parks,” Disney CEO Bob Iger said in an official statement.
